Send large files — send anywhere
simple send does just one thing: it
lets anyone send a file anywhere in the world—easily, securely,
privately, and anonymously.
Easy
Using simple send is about as
easy as it gets. Simply select a file on your
computer or smart phone,
enter a password of your choosing,
and click the Send button.
simple send responds with a unique web
link, which the recipient uses—along with the password you created—to
receive the file.
Secure
simple send is as secure as it
gets. Files are transferred
via secure https protocols, and files are stored on the
server using open standard encryption methods. Without the file
password, it's virtually impossible to decrypt a stored file. And
of course, file passwords are one-way encrypted on the server,
making them extremely hard to crack.
Private
simple send maintains total user
privacy. There are no user accounts or log ins, so a hacker (or law
enforcement) would not find any personal information on the
server—just a bunch of encrypted files with no way to decrypt them.
Anonymous
simple send maintains total user
anononymity. No client computer information is
captured and stored that might identify what computer sent a file, or
what computer received a file.
File Transfer Choices
simple send is the easiest and
most private way to transfer large files, but there are other
choices. Here are some other commercial services:
- dropbox - not anonymous, limited privacy, not so easy
- wetransfer - not anonymous, limited privacy, free tier is limited
- send anywhere - not anonymous, limited privacy, password limited
to 6 digits
